Mr. Aaron Gerald Townsend, 56 of Martin, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

A memorial service will be conducted on a later date.

Mr. Townsend was born June 14, 1965 in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Lance and Rosie (Chandler) Townsend.  He was a truck driver, member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, and served in the U. S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Norwood, four sons, Joseph McCaig (Alex) of Dresden, John Clinton McCaig of Greenfield, Robert Lovell of Martin, Patrick Lovell (Meridith) of McKenzie, and one sister, Rosemary Cozart of Arkansas.  He also leaves fifteen grandchildren, Colton Kyle, Jasyn Kyle, Layn Kyle, Brantley Kyle, Waylon Kyle, Cheyenne Kyle, Savana Kyle, Hunter Lovell, Dalton Lovell, Drake Lovell, Maxie Lovell, Bailee Lovell, Will Townsend, Brayden Townsend, Mason Townsend, and one great grandson, Milo.
