Obituary

Mrs. Alice Mae Knuutila77, of Buena Vista, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Clint Ison will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Daniel Knuutila, Zachary Knuutila, Cody Knuutila, Tyler Bush, Michael Runion and Peyton Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Bendell Ray Boyd, Wendell Johnny Boyd, Dean Thompson, Randall Mark Bush, Matthew Trull and Bedford Wortham.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Knuutila was born September 26, 1938 in Westport, Tennessee, to the late Hobart and Hattie Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack E. Knuutila, four brothers, Clarence Tyler Boyd, Howard Leon Boyd, Alton McKinley Boyd, and Lyndell Odell Boyd.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacklyn Lee Bush (husband Mark) of Huntingdon,
three sons, Ronald Joe Knuutila (wife Barbara) of Burns, Dennis Jay Knuutila (wife Barbara) of Huntingdon, James Stacey Knuutila (wife Breya) of Bruceton, two brothers, Bendall Ray Boyd of Bruceton, Wendell Johnny Boyd (wife Charlie Mae) of Buena Vista, four sisters, Betty jean Sanders of Lexington, Hattie Sue Crossett of Huntingdon, Jo Helen Noel of Huntingdon, and Minnie Lee Hollowell of Westport. She also leaves eight grandchildren Holly Wortham, Jessica Trull, Daniel Knuutila, Samantha Davis, Zachary Knuutila, Tyler Bush, Cody Knuutila, Michael Runion, two goddaughters, Melissa (Missy) Runion and Melissa Virden, three step grandchildren, Courtney Williams, Isaiah House, Seth House, five great grandchildren, Hunter Wortham, Fischer Wortham, Chandler Wortham, Harper Davis, Jackson Trull, five step great grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Ian Williams, Mason Allen, Mallory Allen, Henry Buttrey and numerous nieces and nephews that were near and dear to her heart. Special thanks to Shirley and Dean Thompson, Linda Boyd, Becky Allen, Letricia Wortham, the staff from Peace of Mind Healthcare Advocates, Henry County Medical Center Hospice and her church family at West Tennessee Sabbath Ministries.
