Mrs. Alice Sue Peeples 82, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Bro. Dan Winkler and Elder Jerry Morris will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Peeples was born November 24, 1931 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Leon and Dixie (Furman) Chandler. She was retired from the Publix Shirt Co., previous owner of Peeples Paint and Wallpaper, a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ and a member of the Garden Club. She loved gardening, interior decorating and refinishing antique furniture. She was preceded in death by her husband, Graydon B. Peeples.

She is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Sue Brink (husband Steven) of Murfressboro, Ann Peeples of Nashville, Lisa Brawner (husband Keith) of Springville, and Laura Clifft (husband Paul) of Huntingdon; one son, Graydon Chandler Peeples of Nashville. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, Stephanie Evans, Ava McKee, Astrid Peeples, Gray Peeples, Nicky Peeples, Stuart Peeples, Pam Smith, Katherine Morrison, Spencer Clifft, Dylan Clifft, and Ben Clifft and eighteen great grandchildren.
