Mrs. Amanda Beth Walls Townsend, 38, of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Rufus Chandler and Bro. Doug Sellers will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, after 4:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Townsend was born September 12, 1973 in Jackson, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Gayle Stafford.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Aaron Gerald Townsend, two sons, John Clinton McCaig and Joseph Eugene McCaig both of Huntingdon, her parents, Johnny and Bertha Walls of Cedar Grove,and one sister, Sandra Glover (Ezzie) of West Memphis, Arkansas. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, Justin, Jeremy, Lacinda, Jude, Allie Marie, Aiden, Bent Lee, Braley, Max, Haley, Jennifer, and Ben.
