Mrs. Amelia McGuire, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. McGuire was an employee of the Sharon Manufacturing Company. She also worked at Volunteer General Hospital in the laboratory and x-ray departments. Later, she became a beautician before retiring and moving to Huntingdon. She was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ.

Mrs. McGuire was born December 25, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Thomas Brundige and Beulah Harris Brundige, two brothers Arvil Brundige and Carthal Brundige all of Latham, Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband Lindy McGuire of Huntingdon and three daughters, Sandy (Steve) Covington of Canton, Georgia, Sherry (Joe) Johnson of Huntingdon and Lori (David) Sloan of Lexington, Tennessee; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family graveside service at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, Tennessee.

Any memorials in honor of Mrs. McGuire, the family requests bequeathed to Huntingdon Church of Christ.
