Mr. Amos Earl Anderson 91, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Huntingdon. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Fred Ward and Bro. Henry Simpson will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends on Friday at Chase Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM
Mr. Anderson was born June 17, 1923 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Robert and Ollie (Kirk) Anderson. He was a retired accountant for the Carroll County Electric Department, and member of the First Baptist Church in Huntingdon, and was a United States Air Forces WWII veteran. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Anderson; one son, Tim Anderson; three sisters, Merlene Colvett, Ondine Roberts and Lorelle Smith; four brothers, Gaylon Anderson, Lester Anderson, Futrell Anderson and infant brother, J. N. Anderson.
He is survived by three daughters; Brenda Riley (husband Preston) of Huntingdon, Dolores Perdue (husband Jenks) of Nashville, and Deborah Lundstrom (husband Johan) of Sweden. He also leaves six grandchildren, Justin Carnie, Rachel Huber, Benjamin Perdue, David Lewis, Patrick Lewis, and Hannah Lundstrom, and six great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samuel, Bobby, Evelyn, Izabella, and Nicole.
The family request that memorial gifts be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, Baptist Children's Home, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, or Gideon's International.
