Mrs. Anna Cary,70, of Westport, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Westport, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at with Bro. Phillip Gulledge officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at New Hope Baptist Church on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Roger Gooch, Brian Powers, Chuck Johnson, Tom Horn, Michael Montgomery and Randy Robinson.

Mrs. Cary was born on February 20, 1955, in Huntingdon, to the late Bobby Jowers and Charlotte Fay Lagay Jowers. She was a laborer for Gaines manufacturing.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bennie Harold Cary, a daughter, Charlotte Phillips (Logan) of Jackson, Kentucky, a brother, Bobby Jowers, of Cedar Grove, two grandchildren, Jessica Gooch (Roger), Brian Powers, and one great-grandchild, Justin Powers.
