Mrs. Annie Sue Swindell, 90, of Bruceton, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at Lifecare Center of Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 Am until time of the service.

Mrs. Swindell was born May 29, 1933 to the late Thomas Lester Brown and Ruby Mae (Barnhart) Brown. She worked for Emerson Electric and loved to fish and play Rook. She was a member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Hulon Swindell, three brothers, Rulon Brown, James Brown and Dallas "Pete" Brown, two sisters, Lucille Bennett, Marie Edwards and two infant siblings.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Sutton (Paul) of Mansfield, Kathy Kee of Huntingdon and Darlene Swindell of Camden, four sisters, Marjorie "Polly" Lynn Brown (Martin), of Merrillville, Indiana, Francis Dalton (Calvin) of Lake Station, Indiana, Marilyn Ward (Willie) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Brenda Meyers (Roger) of Zionsville, Indiana, and a brother, Landis Brown (Mary) of Hollow Rock. She also leaves six grandchildren. Kristie Zimmerman, Melissa Sutton, Cayla Jessee, Stacey Kee, Jonathan Kee, Adam Kee and fifteen great grandchildren.
