Mrs. Ava Nelle Haddock, 88 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday at the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Haddock was born December 4, 1928 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Sam and Eura (King) Smith. She was a Retired Seamstress for Publix Shirt Company, a member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church and the Helping Hands Organization. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, J.T. Williams, second husband, Claude Haddock, three sisters, and three brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Bendel of Bruceton; two sons, Dennis Williams (Lori) and Mark Williams (Cindy) both of Huntingdon; one step son, Byron Haddock of Nashville. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Pam Kelley, Cayce Brinkley (Daniel), Lindsey McIver (Trey), Melissa Hightower, Ricky Hightower, Larry Bendel (Pam), Carolyn Bendel, Carrie Bendel, and Cameron Haddock, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
