Barbara Jane Chapar's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Jane Chapar, 71, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in New Crossroads Cemetery. Pastor Mark Carrgan will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in Cherrywood Room Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Chapar was born on April 2, 1944 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Eugene E. and Alice Jane (Hayes) Penney. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nick Chapar.
She is survived by two sisters; Bonnie Barocsi (Stephen) and Judy Hayden (Charles) both of Huntingdon; two brothers, Gene Penney Jr. of Huntingdon and Bob Penney (Deborah) of Torrington, Connecticut. She also leaves a special friend Charla Govan, several nieces, nephews, and kitty cats.
