Ms. Beatrice Leslie 96, of Erin, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Houston County Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 23, 2015 at1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Parkers Crossroads Cemetery. Bro. Andrew Stokes and Bro. Robert McCay will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Leslie was born October 10, 1918 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Eff Roy and Rudy Belle (Hale) Burgess. She worked as a seamstress out of her home and was a lifelong member of the Clarksburg Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Leslie and one son, Larry Leslie.

She is survived by one daughter, Donna Blye (husband Bob) of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and one son, Gene Leslie (wife Sylvia) of Tennessee Ridge; two sisters, Carline Bennett of Huntingdon and Aleen Hampton of Jackson. She also leaves five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
