Mr. Bendell Ray Boyd, 82, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Russ Wilkins will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Boyd was born July 15, 1934 in Westport, Tennessee to the late Hobart and Hattie (Brackins) Boyd. He was a Retired Set-Up Instructor for Emerson Electric Company. He was also preceded death by his wife Fay Kennedy Boyd;two sons, Richard Alan Boyd, Stephen Howard Boyd; a grandson, Donnie William Travis; a granddaughter, Kendall Sarah Gracey Boyd; a sister, Alice Knuutila; four brothers, Clarence Tyler Boyd, Lindell Boyd, Howard Leon Boyd, and Alton McKinley Boyd.

He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Ward (Vance) of Huntingdon, Melody Travis (Sonny) of Venice, Florida, and Barbara Ezell (Ray) of Orange, Virginia; four sons, Larry Boyd (Michelle) of Jackson, Danny Boyd of Mayfield, Kentucky, James Boyd (Barbara), of McKenzie, and Randy Boyd (Danielle) of Huntingdon; four sisters, Jo Helen Noel of Huntingdon, Sue Crossett of Huntingdon, Minnie Hollowell of Westport, and Jean Sanders of Lexington; one brother, Wendell Boyd (Charlie Mae) of Westport. . He also leaves twenty one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a multitude of precious nieces and nephews.
