Mr. Bennie Lee Gooch, 73 of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Simons officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Gooch was born August 14, 1946 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Willie Ben and Frances (Miller) Gooch.  He graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1965, worked as a sewing mechanic for H.I.S. Company, was a member and elder of Roan's Creek Church of Christ.  He enjoyed doing sewing machine repair from his home, cattle farming, fishing with grandkids and growing a big garden.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy Gooch, one daughter, Amy Jones (Joey) of Huntingdon, one son, Joey Gooch (Tami) and one brother, Danny Gooch (Marilyn), both of Yuma.  He also leaves five grandchildren, Ben Gooch, Gideon Gooch, Jodee Jones, Jessi Jones, Jada Jones and one great-grandson, Easton Austin.
