Mrs. Bertha Walls, 74, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Baptist Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sellers officiating.  Burial will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Justin Glover, Jeremy Glover, Joseph McCaig, John Clint McCaig, Max Morris, Matt Lynch, Trace Thomas, and Jude Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Thomas and Hammer Yount.

Mrs. Walls was born December 16, 1950, in Huntingdon, to the late Willie Junior Smith and Ruth Bush Smith. She worked maintenance for TDOT, and was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Melinda Gayle Stafford and Amanda Townsend.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Johnny Walls, a daughter, Sandra Glover (Ezzie) of Cedar Grove, two sisters, Liz Blakeman, of Westport, and Lena Smith of Huntingdon. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Justin Glover, LaCinda Thomas (Carl) Jeremy Glover (Leah), Jennifer Yount (Hammer), Joseph McCaig (Alex), John Clint McCaig, Haley Davison (C.J.), Max Morris, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
