Mrs. Betty Joyce Crutchfield, 87, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Lifecare Center of Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Chuck Cooper and Scotty Pinson officiating the service. Entombment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service

Mrs. Crutchfield was born March 14, 1937 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Jack Cooper and Clara (Crews) Cooper. She worked in the cafeteria at Huntingdon Middle School. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.H. Crutchfield; a brother, Roland Cooper; sisters, Virginia Harris, Nellie Hicks, and Marie Wilson.

She is survived by a son, Randy Crutchfield (special friend Melissa), and a daughter, Cathy Smith, both of Hollow Rock; a brother, Chuck Cooper (Sandy), of Huntingdon; a granddaughter, Amanda Hankins (Corey), of Lavinia; and four Great-Grandchildren, Hunter Hankins, Cy Hankins, Ripken Hankins, and Maris Hankins.
