Mrs. Betty Lou Gooch , 70, of Wildersville, Tennessee passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bro. John Small, Bro. Dennis Lunsford and Bro. Phillip Gulledge will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday after 5: PM, all day on Wednesday and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Gooch was born June 11, 1945 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late R.C. and Pauline (Roberts) Azbill. She was retired from Publix Shirt Corporation and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roger Gooch of Wildersville; two sons, Darren Gooch (wife Sherry) of Lexington and Billy Jack Gooch (wife Christy) of Clarksburg; two brothers, Charles Azbill (wife Jo Helen) of Clarksburg and Jimmy Azbill (wife Linda) of Lexington. She also leaves five grandchildren, Ashley, Madison, Mason, Dakota, and Owen.
