Mrs. Betty Jane Houston, 89, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Houston was born December 27, 1930 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Adrian Lynn and Margaret Oteria (Redden) Pinson.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Wilson Clinic, worked for Dr. Scott Portis for several years, a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, where she served as historian for a number of years, was a member of United Methodist Women where she served as district officer for a number years and a member of the Women's Club.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneth Houston, whom she was married to for 52 years.

She is survived by one son, Patrick Kenneth Houston (Alison) of Cosby.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Lindley Elizabeth Houston, Megan Rebecca Houston-Patrick, and John Caleb Lee Houston.
