Mrs. Betty Carolyn Johnson 70, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Scotty Davis will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Johnson was born May 3, 1944 in Milan, Tennessee to the late Cecil and Ophelia Elizabeth (Barger) Smith. One of her favorite pastimes was fishing and she also loved to spend time with her family members and pets.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Danny Johnson; four children, Clorinda Stafford of McKenzie, David Brawner (wife Denise) of Bruceton, Angela Brooks of West Helena, Arkansas and Jason Harris (wife Suzette) of Cleveland; one sister, Margie Scruggs and one brother, Frankie Smith both of Atwood. She also leaves ten grandchildren, Justin Stafford (wife Jill), Brian Stafford (wife Jana), Markus Moore, Mikayla Brawner, Tyler Moore, Josie Moore, David Bullen (wife Mary), Monica Davenport, Auston Jenkins, and Chase Harris and seven great grandchildren, Kyra Kelley, Adrianna Bullen, Gaven Bullen, Seth Stafford, Jaycee Stafford, Jake Stafford and Jonathan Harper.
