Mrs. Betty Nell Joyner, 83 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday October 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Atwood First Baptist Church with her son-in-law, Bro. Marc Patterson and Bro. Dennis Trull officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life.

Mrs. Joyner was born June 16, 1939 in Mississippi to the late Luther and Marie Presley.  She was self-employed as a dental technician. She married the late James Calvin Joyner on August 13, 1955 and they were married for sixty-six years until his death in 2020.

She is survived by a daughter, Felicia Patterson (Marc) of Huntingdon, a son, Darrel Joyner (Lesa) of McKenzie, two sisters, Carol Littlejohn of Memphis, Annette Scott of Mississippi, two brothers, Jimmy Smith (Diane) and Coy Smith, both of Mississippi.  She also leaves thirteen grandchildren, Eric Joyner (Aimee), Ian Joyner (Jennifer), Alan Joyner, Ethan Joyner (Felicia), Jennifer Hamilton (Alex), Caleb Joyner, Brittney Rivera (Austin), Jesse Joyner, Samuel Joyner (Ashton), Emma Knight (Garrett), Matthew Patterson, Abigail Joyner, and Clare Joyner, and twelve great-grandchildren.
