Mrs. Betty King, 78, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon. Entombment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Donald Ricketts, Jr. will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Monday at the First Pentecostal Church from 10:00 am until time of service.
Mrs. King was born April 5, 1938 to the late Clarence and Dorthy Sue (Reasons) Riggsbee. She was the owner and operator of Rainbow Beauty Salon in Huntingdon and a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill King,
She is survived by two sons, Junior King, Larry King (wife Linda), both of Hollow Rock, three brothers, Cecil Riggsbee (wife Joyce), Joe Riggsbee (wife Lynn), and Mickey Riggsbee (wife Peggy) all of Alamo. She also leaves five grandchildren, Alicia King Hassman (husband Jay), Ray King, Josh Thompson, Logan King (wife Kristin), Jordan King, and five great grandchildren, Austin Bond, Maecy Bond, Allie Kate Smith, Garrett Fontenot, and Brody Thompson.
