Mrs. Betty Melton, 74, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at her son's residence in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Kenny Carr will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Andrew Campbell, Matthew Murchison, Matthew Frazee, Troy Davis, Wayne Burlison, and Lee Munz.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 until time of service.

Mrs. Melton was born November 11, 1942 in Detroit, Michgian to the late Oscar Daniel and Edith Haywood Frazee. She was a home maker. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Frazee, one sister, Ann Pace, and one grandson, Nicholas Ryan Melton.

She is survived by her husband of William Jerry Melton, two sons, William Tony Melton (wife Tammy) of Cedar Grove, Billy Wayne Melton (wife Patti) of Jackson, one sister, Sue Murray of Hendersonvillle, three brothers, James Frazee, Kenneth Frazee (wife Olivia) both of Bruceton, and Edgar Frazee of Corinth, Mississippi. She also leaves three grandchildren, Destinee Marie Melton, Andrew Campbell, and Alexa Campbell and eight great grandchildren.
