Mrs. Betty Jo Nunley, 76, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in Milan.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home, with Bro. Terry Kesley officiating. Interment to follow in McAuley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Robert Hilliard, Chuck Phelps, Dillon Nunley, Timmy Eubanks, Ryan Eubanks, Nathan Hilliard, David Fraiser.

Mrs. Nunley was born on August 19, 1946, in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late Tom and Bonnie Mae (Leak) Johnson. She was a member of the West Wood Church of God, and she was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her daughters Celestina Marie Nunley and Peggy Jo Nunley-Hilliard, her son Dennis Nunley, her brother Elmer Johnson, grandson Jimmy Lee Nunley, and granddaughter Celeste Nunley Selph

She is survived by a son, Henry Nunley, Jr. (Leona) of Bruceton, a sister, Rebecca Johnson, of Martin, three brothers, Lillian Windom (Dakota) of Lavinia, Greg Hilliard, of Memphis, and Sharon.  She also leaves six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
