Obituary

Mrs. Betty Jane (Blount) Pinkley 87, of Westport, Tennessee passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at her family's home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Boyd will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 4:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service

Pallbearers who will serve are Johnny Blount, Rodney Moore, David Wood, Chris Hall, Donald Carnell and Danny Mitchell.

Mrs. Pinkley was born November 21, 1925 in Westport, Tennessee to the late Clester Roe and Ruth Virginia (Whitehorn) Blount. She was a retired factory worker for the Thomas Bradford Company and a member of the Westport Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one brother, William "Big Boy" Blount.

She is survived by one son, Michael Ray Pinkley (Donna) of Westport, one aunt, Olean Blount, two nieces Kathy Atkins (Tommy) of Camden and Gena Barker of McKenzie. She also leaves a host of great nieces and nephews.
