Mrs. Betty J. Tyler, 66, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Baptist Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Trull officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty All Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until time of service.

Mrs. Tyler was born December 11, 1955, in Huntingdon, Tennessee. She was a homemaker. She was proceeded in death by her father, Clifford Dwayne Horton and one son, Brian Christopher Sexton.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dale "D.J." Tyler, a daughter, Melinda Ann Crocker-Shafer (Deric) of McKenzie, two step-daughters, Bridget Jones (James) of Cookeville, and Heather Small, of Spring Creek, her mother, Dorothy Sue (Matlock) Horton of Huntingdon, four sisters, Rita Crocker, of McKenzie, Kathy Carson (Ken) of Huntingdon, Trish Waggoner (Rick) of Martin, Danita Land (James) of Huntingdon, two brothers, Johnny Horton (Theresa) of McKenzie, Mike Horton (Tina) of Huntingdon, and seven grandchildren, Jerry Vowell (Hannah), Christopher Jones, Hayley Jones, Allie Jones, Kyle Mynatt, Jackson Small, and Natalie Small.
