Mrs. Betty Wolfe, 90, of Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Atkins officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mrs. Wolfe was born December 31, 1933, in Johnston City, Illinois, the daughter of the late W.O. (Tim) Evers and Lorraine Long Evers. After attending grades 1 through 3 in Massac County, Illinois, she and her parents moved to Hiwassee College, Madisonville, Tennessee. She lived in different parts of Tennessee the rest of her life. A graduate of Peabody College, she taught school in Nashville, Memphis, and Brownsville, Tennessee, for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Dr. Martin D. Wolfe, who passed away in 1995 and a son in law Bob Carnie.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Carnie, of Huntingdon, two sons, Dan Wolfe (Diane) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Frank Wolfe (Stephanie) of Medina, a sister, Eva Harris (Jerry), of Madison, Indiana. She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
