Mr. John William "Bill" Cole, 79, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Concord Missionary Baptist Church for the repaving of the parking lot.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Bro. Josh Parker and Bro. Andrew Stokes will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Cole was born October 15, 1938 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late William Guy and Alberdia (Robison) Cole. He was a Retired Mill Operator for Norandal and a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosalind (Brewer) Cole, two daughters, Rhonda Walsh (Mike) of Lincolnshire, Illinois and Tina Cole of Nashville; one son, William Christopher Cole (Karla) of Winchester; three sisters, Bernice Loving of Paducah, Kentucky, Mary Towater of Cedar Grove, and Diane Kirby of Huntingdon; two brothers, Bob Cole of McKenzie and Ronnie Cole of Huntingdon. He also leaves three grandchildren, Connor Walsh, Logan Walsh, and Sabrina Cole.
