Mr. Billy Wayne "Bill" Byars, 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Lakeside Senior Living.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ with Bro. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in Long Rock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 AM until time of the service at Huntingdon Church of Christ.

Pallbearers who will serve are Kurt Ulrich, Joshua Ulrich, Scott Barkley, Joe McCadams, Leslie Pendergrass and Laron Pendergrass

Mr. Byars was born August 18, 1943 in Huntingdon to the late Wayne Albert Byars and Mildred (Kirby) Byars. He was a retired Inspector for the Milan Arsenal and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jane Byars and a daughter, Laura Byars.

He is survived by two sisters, Brenda Barkley of Lady Lake, Florida and Karen McCadams of Jackson, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
