Mr. Billy Ray Byrum, 55 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Baptist Memorial East Memphis Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating.  Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Andrew Hill, Curtis Byrum, Calvin Williams, Theo Williams,

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Byrum was born July 9, 1964 in Jackson, Tennessee.  He worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Auto Zone D.C. and was a member of Westport Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Byrum and one brother, Carrol Byrum.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lee Byrum, two daughters, Layla Byrum of Huntingdon, Emily Hill (Andrew) of Jackson, one son, Cody Byrum (Dakota) of Henry, his father, C. L. Byrum of Mercer, three brothers, John Byrum (Connie), Curtis Byrum (Lori), and Charles Byrum, all of Jackson.  He also leaves two grandchildren, Ella Hill and Kylyn Byrum.
