Mr. James Robert "Bob" Futrell, 85, of Camden, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Camden Healthcare.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lathan McLean officiating.  Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Futrell was born May 11, 1936, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late James Floyd and Nola May (Sullivan) Futrell.  He retired from Tennessee Department of Transportation Highway Department and was a member of New Spring Hill Baptist Church.  Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Vera Futrell, who passed away May 13, 2021.

He is survived by three grandchildren, Vicky Landers of Milan, Wayne Rummage of Germany and Jessica Sutton of Illinois, four great grandchildren, Jacob Landers, Jessie Landers, Christopher Rummage and Benjamin Rummage.
