Ms. Bobbie Jean Jamison, 82 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Humbles Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Jamison was born March 31, 1939 to the late Leo Utley and Genevea Shoffner.  She was a faithful member of her church, a wonderful and sincere caregiver and worker.  She also loved singing with her group of friends, watching cartoons with the kids, going shopping with the family, and being a great shoulder to lean on.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to William Tyler Jamison for 43 years, until he passed in 2012.  Other than her parents, she is also preceded in death by one daughter, Bridgett A. Tharpe, one son, Richard Tharpe, and one great grandson, Davin T. T. Harris, along with two sisters, both of California.

Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Lakeitha Tharpe of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son-in-law, John Yarbrough of Huntingdon, five grandchildren, Wondale Tharpe of Huntingdon, Iayia Yarbrough and Janesta        Yarbrough, both of Huntingdon, LaShonda Sneed of     Nashville, and Colby Tharpe of Ashland City.  She also leaves ten great-grandchildren and a host of special children, she greatfully adopted into her life.  She will be greatly missed.
