Mrs. Bobbie Jean Smith, 83, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Bobby Smith, Brad Smith, Philip Barnett, Travis Ward, Jess Dill, Donnie Smith, Trevor Smith, and Jason Hasting, Chance Carlton.

Mrs. Smith was born December 22, 1940, in Memphis, to the late Billy and Annie Mae Hunt Simmons. She was a seamstress for Kellwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Smith, and an infant son, Steven Carlton.

She is survived by her son, Tim Carlton (Robbie), of Huntingdon, a sister, Joyce Ann Simmons, of Huntingdon, two grandchildren, Jessica Hunley (Kris), Chance Carlton (Samantha), two great grandchildren, Landry Jean Carlton, Ellsie Jo Carlton, and nieces Devonda Lynn, Lisa Jean, and AnDrea Dawn.
