Mr. Bobby Joe Churchwell, 76 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Humbles Cemetery. Bro. Alex Hilliard and Bro. Wayne Holmes will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday after 4:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Jonathan Carroll, Chance Carlton, Jacob Churchwell, Kris Hunley, Alex Arnold, and Bobby Kirk. Honorary Pallbearers are Taylor Arnold, Brady Carroll, and Jaidynn Lowrance.

Mr. Churchwell was born May 3, 1939 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Robert Charles and Jo Ella (Pickett) Churchwell. He retired from the Milan Arsenal and took care of his own farm. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and of the Huntingdon Circuit United Methodist Men.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances (Wilson) Churchwell; two daughters, Lisa Hilliard (Gerry) and Robbie Carlton (Tim); two sons, Robert Churchwell (April) and James Churchwell (Debbie) all of Huntingdon. He also leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
