Bobby Lynn Porter's Obituary
Mr. Bobby Lynn Porter 53, of Lavinia, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Milan General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Porter was born January 16, 1961 in Milan, Tennessee. He worked in quality control at the Milan Arsenal and was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Atwood. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Porter.
He is survived by his wife Phylis Porter of Lavinia; his mother, Evelyn McCollum of Atwood; two sons, Bobby Lynn Porter, Jr. and Daniel Lynn Porter of Lavinia; one step son, David Dees of Somerville and three brothers, Rodney Carter of Lavinia, Bernard Porter of Atwood and Kenneth Wayne Porter of Huntingdon. He also leaves two grandsons and one step grandson.
