Mr. Bobby Gene Waugh, 84 of Yuma, Tennessee, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at AHC Lexington.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Adam Waugh, Logan Foster, Josh Frensley, Mike Hatch, Gary Altom, and Ricky Scott.
Mr. Waugh was born January 23, 1937, in Yuma, Tennessee to the late Joe and Ethel (Hedge) Waugh. He worked for the Carroll County Highway Department as a truck driver, retired from the National Guard, after 30 years in the Huntingdon Guard, and was a big Cardinal Baseball Fan. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Hatch.
He is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Susan Waugh, two daughters, Terry Warren (Darren), Sherrie Yarbro (Tom), one son, Barry Waugh (Lisa), all of Clarksburg, and one step-son, Gary Altom (Kristi) of Lexington. He also five grandchildren, Erin Foster (Logan), Alyson Frensley (Josh), Adam Waugh ('finance, Desarae), Alex Campbell, Robin Eaves (Matt), three step-grandchildren, Emily Altom, Megan Altom, Ashley Altom, and ten great-grandchildren.
