Mrs. Bonnie Sue Sanders, 79 of Lexington, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Darry Gray and Bro Billy Clark will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Sanders was born April 24, 1933 in Decatur County, Tennessee to the late Connie Lee Anderson and Rosetta Inman Anderson Smith and Bill Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and was a member of the Lexington Christian Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Sanders, daughter, Brenda Cook, sister, Ramona Hensley and granddaughter, Lynn Williams.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Nichols (husband Chuck) of Lexington and two sons, Johnny Sanders (wife Kimberly) and Anthony Sanders both of Westport, one sister, Laura Glover of Camden. She also leaves five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
