Mr. Bruce Wilson, 77, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home, with Dr. Tim Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are David Dameron, Steven Dameron, Donald Wilson, and Randy Carter.

Mr. Wilson was born February 19, 1947, in Huntingdon, to the late Roy and Martha Ozella Bush Wilson. He was employed for 35 years by Henry I. Seigel in Bruceton.  He retired from the Carroll County Highway Department after 12 years of service. He often could be found in the garden or on his lawnmower. He also loved the Atlanta Braves.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Wilson, a daughter, Lucretia Shackelford (Steven) of Jackson, a sister, Jennie Weaver, of Bruceton, a brother, Larry Wilson (Pauline) of Huntingdon, and a granddaughter, Kaley Shackelford, of Jackson.
