Mr. Buster Norden, 95, of Huntingdon passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at McKenzie Healthcare.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Dan Winkler officiated the service.

Pallbearers who served were Owen McMillin, Vince Taylor, Charlie Powell, Jimmy Hampton, and Jimmy Pinson. Honorary Pallbearers were Howard Pruitt, Billy Parham, and J.W. Hollowell.

Mr. Norden was born March 4, 1922 in Buena Vista, Tennessee to the late Alonzo and Vonnie (Hargrove) Norden. He retired after 41 years as an Engineer for the Carroll County Electric Department, was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ where he served as an Elder, and he was a United States Air Force World War II Veteran. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dessie Louise (Powell) Norden; a sister, Claudine Jordan; a brother, Weldon Norden.

He is survived by two sons, Nelson Norden (Marilyn) of Holly Springs, North Carolina and Randall Norden (Sylvia) of Springville; one sister, Lonnelle McMillin of Huntingdon. He also leaves six grandchildren, Christopher Norden (Carol), Heather Summer (Will), Jonathan Norden (Stacey), and Lydia Chadwick (Tim), Aaron Baccus (Marcy), Marissa Baccus Murphy (Danny) seven great grandchildren, Maggie Summer, Lilly Summer, Ashley Brown, Addison Baccus, Sadie Grace Baccus, Luke Aaron Baccus, and Liam Murphy, and one great great grandson, Nicholas Brown.
