Mr. Calvin Thomas Martin, 95, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Private graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Carter's Chapel Cemetery.  Bro. Darrell Ridgely will officiate the service.

Mr. Martin was born August 14, 1924 in Idlewild, Tennessee, to the late Seth Thomas Martin and Millie B. Hayes Martin.  He was a welder for ITT Milan, a member of the Carter's Chapel Methodist Church, served in the Army during World War II.  He loved fishing and coon hunting.  He was also preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, and one daughter-in-law, Judy Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bertha Martin, two daughters, Karen Volner (Danny) of Milan, Sandra Phillips (Jimmy) of Lavinia, two sons, Tommy Martin (Linda) of McLemoresville, Gary Martin of McKenzie, two sisters, Jewell Newman of Huntingdon, and Ruby Nell Alexander (Mel) of Milan.  He also leaves nine grandchildren, Sally Thompson (J.R.), Manda Martin, Seth Martin (Kim), Adam Naylor (Rachel), Mark Naylor (Kami), Kelly Martin (Brent), Kayla Martin, Mitch Martin, Cody Martin, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
