Mrs. Mary Carline Bennett, 93, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16 at 11:00 A.M. at Clarksburg Missionary Baptist church with Bro. Jeff Simmons officiating the service. Burial to follow at Clarksburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Tuesday at Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Isaac Carter, Jason Smith, Danny Leslie, Aaron Lancaster, Roger Lindsey, Brit Leslie. Honorary Pallbearers who will serve are Luke Smith, Noah Smith, Clint Cary, Casey King

Mrs. Bennett was born June 15, 1931 in Clarksburg to the late Eff Roy Burgess and Rudy Belle (Hale) Burgess. She was a retired supervisor for Publix Shirt Company and a Consultant of the Mary Kay organization as well as a committed member of Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. Carline was deeply involved in the Clarksburg community. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Leon "Wink" Bennett, and two sisters Aileen Hampton and Beatrice Leslie.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Bennett (David Bryant); a son, Mark Anthony Bennett (Kristie); four grandchildren, Issac Carter (Alicia), Marti Smith (Jason), Jeri Lynn King (David) and Grayson Bennett and five great grandchildren.
