Mrs. Carol Lee Hopper, 76 of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the McKenzie Health Care.


Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Roger Hollingsworth will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 5:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Hopper was born August 27, 1939 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Auther Lee Patterson and Mary Minnie Bell (Smothers) Patterson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Marlboro Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Carol Himes, one sister, Christine Hilliard, three brothers, Leon Patterson, Bo Patterson, and Charlie Patterson.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack Hopper, two daughters, Phyllis Coleman of McKenzie, Jackie Hopper of Huntingdon, one sister, Geneva Bailey of Crump, four brothers, Bobby Patterson of Camden, Billy Patterson (wife Pat) of Trezevant, Ricky Patterson (wife Connie) of Yuma, and Danny Patterson (wife Janet) of Huntingdon. She also leaves five grandchildren, Savanna Hopper, Jacob Wilkes, Amber Sam, Brittany Harris, and Kaley Coleman and three great-grandchildren, Madison Minard, Lily Sam, and Kylan Milton.
