Mrs. Carolyn Geans, 72 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bro. Fred Ward will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, on Monday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Geans was born July 5, 1942 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Coba Lee Hayes and Chlorine Grice. She was a retired waitress from E W James and Son. She was also preceded in death by one son Robert Geans, three brothers, Bobby Hayes, Rodger Hayes, and Thomas Hayes.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Beacham (husband Mike) of Clarksburg, Tina Pipkin (husband Rusty) of Ashland City, two sons, Keith Geans (wife Lori) and Patrick Geans (wife Patricia) both of Huntingdon, and one sister, Ann Grant of Parker Crossroads. She also leaves eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
