Mrs. Carolyn Jean Kirksey, 70, of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Lifecare Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Kirksey was born July 21, 1952 in Camden, Tennessee, to the late J. P. and Becky (Beecham) Forrest.  She worked as a CNA at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Kirksey, three sisters, Geneva "Tootsie" Brinkley, Mary Jane Williams, Edith Pearson, three brothers, Frank Forrest, Howard T. Forrest, and Jackie Forrest.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Kirksey (Mary) and Wesley Campbell, both of Huntingdon, two sisters, Pearl Delaney of Camden, Sue Cary (Grady) of Yuma, one brother, Larry Forrest (Sue) of Pillowville.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Sarah Kirksey of McKenzie, David Kirksey and Lucas Bratton, both of Huntingdon.
