Mrs. Catherine Parker, 88, of Wildersville, Tennessee passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parkers Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Parker was born October 23, 1927 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late John Belew and Betsy Melton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Parkers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Laborn Parker; one brother, Ardrain "Jack" Melton, and one sister, Nell Elizabeth Melton.

She is survived by two step children , James "Bud" Parker of Wildersville and Lula Mae Melton (Paul) of Lexington; one sister Rosie Marie Rivers of Wildersville. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
