Mr. Charles Loyd Allen, 76, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Mr. Allen was born February 2, 1939 in Carroll County, Tennessee. He was a Job Corp coordinator for the United Carpenters and Jointers, a member of the Huntingdon First Baptist Church, active member of the Millwright Association, and served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Allen and one brother, Jerry Allen.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Peggy Eskew Allen; his mother, Vonell Allen both of Huntingdon; one step daughter, Mary Parker (husband Kirt) of Trenton; one sister, Betty Butler of the Spanish Grove Community; one brother, Jackie Allen (wife Karen) of McKenzie. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
