Obituary

Mr. Charles Ray Bray 75, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 06, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. Bro. Brent McMinn and Bro. Robert Barger will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Mike Fowler, Richard Coleman, Steve Coleman, Mike McMinn, Matthew Wall, and Neil Chaney.

The family will receive friends at Chase Funeral Home on Saturday after 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Bray was born April 8, 1937 in Carroll County, Tennessee. He was a retired farmer, worked 15 years at the Milan Arsenal, opeerated Mid Town Cleaners for 11 years and served in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father; Lonnie Arnold Bray.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years whom he married on June 4, 1955; Patsy Bray, his mother; Thelma Ethelene Bray of Lavinia, one daughter; Kim Wall (husband Alan) of Big Sandy, two sons; Terry Bray of Nacogdoches, Texas, Ricky Bray of Parsons,one sister; Brenda McMinn (husband George) of Medina and two brothers; Travis Wayne Bray of Cedar Grove and James Dale Bray (wife Wanda) of Lavinia. He also leaves four grandchildren; Charles Luke Pence, Carter Andrew Bray, Amber Leni Bray, Trisha Marie Evans and six great grandchildren; Christopher, Tyler, Chalice, Joshua, Summer and Declan.
