Mr. Charles "Charlie" Hayden, 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Crossroads Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are David Lott, Ronnie Williams, Vince Taylor, Mike Partridge, Bob Chase, Danny Brandon, Jim Poirier, and Lynn Johnson.
Mr. Hayden was born May 2, 1944, in New Town, Connecticut, to the late David and Mary Elizabeth Hayden. He was a truck driver for Arrow Carrier, a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, and served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hayden.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Judy Hayden, a sister-in-law Bonnie Barocsi (Steve), of Huntingdon, brothers-in-law Gene Penney, of Huntingdon, Bob Penney (Debbie) of Torrington, Connecticut, a niece, Donna Hayden-Pratt, of New Milford, Connecticut, a great-nephew Christopher Pratt, of Denver Colorado, as well as several other nieces and nephews, and his beloved fur child, Molly Ann "Baby Girl".
