Mr. Clem Edward Todd, 94, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday July 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Gulledge will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in Cherry wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Todd was born November 23, 1921 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Clem Gray and Ruby Jewel (Burch) Todd. He was retired from the Milan Arsenal, a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for 61 years, and was a WWII Army Veteran. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Annie Marie Todd; a son, Larry Todd; three sisters, Elizabeth Todd, Madge Dailey, and Pauline Cary; six brothers, Phillip Todd, Leon Todd, RC Todd, Wayne Todd, Hoyt Todd, and Ray Todd.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Houston of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Shelia Bell Cerrito of Germantown; one son, Michael Todd of Clarksburg; one sister, Faye Nell Hatch of Huntingdon. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Stephanie Todd Smith, Corey Todd, Britt Todd, Clint Kyle, Josh Todd, Heather Wortham, Jacob Todd, Tiffany Powell, and Savanah Bell and twelve great grandchildren, Lilly Wortham, Corben Wortham, Griffin Todd, Megan Kyle, Dylan Kyle, Maddox Powell, Kirsten Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Blaine Todd, Avery Todd, Luke Todd, and Tripp Todd.
