Mrs. Cora Alberta Poole, 94 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Rogers officiating the service. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral home on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Poole was born July 4, 1925 in Trezevant, Tennessee, to the late Willie Beals and Mary Newbill Beals. She was a dedicated member at Clark Street Missionary Baptist Church.  Cora provided for her family as a homemaker for many years.  As she was a homemaker for several families, she touched plenty people and was loved dearly.  She was also preceded in death by brothers: James Beales, John Beales, sister: Doshie Priest, two grandchildren: Anthony Taylor, Annetta Taylor, and great-grandsons, Brent Taylor and Jeremy Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memories, love and laughter: three daughters; Cora Ann Poole (Fred), Bettie Weathers, Charlene Toone, granddaughters; Carmelia Pearson (Kamika), Sonia Taylor, Linda Melton (Spencer), Cynthia McNeil (Mac), grandson; Johnny Taylor (Velma) and a sister; Betty Joe Studdlefield.  She also leaves a host of great-grandchildren; cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.  A very special young man; Mr. Gregory "Gimpy" Cozart was so dear to her heart.
