Mrs. Cornelia LaOuida McCollum Smith, 78 of Cross Plains, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Milan.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Robert Smith, Jr. of Cross Plains, TN, her children Rex Keith Smith (Marie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gina Smith of Denver, Colorado, Sandra Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marcia Smith-Brown (Courtney) of Aurora, Illinois, and Reginald Todd Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Also to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Nile, Cheyenne, Christopher, William, Zaria, and James.
She is further survived by five sisters: Anna Barron of St. Louis, MO, Gwendolyn McCollum of Gary, IN, Marva McCollum of St. Louis, MO, Agatha McCollum of Jackson, TN, and Lucy (Wayne) Jordan of Atwood, TN. Three brothers: Charles McCollum of Boliver, TN, Eddie McCollum (Sadie) of Chicago, IL, Lindon McCollum (Donna) of Plainfield, IL. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
