Mr. Dalton Blaine Prater, 17 of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 12 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Kerry Mallard, Bro. Kim Lowe and Coach Mike Limbaugh will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Mr. Prater was born February 6, 1999 in Jackson, Tennessee. He attended Clarksburg High School, was a member of the Clarksburg High School Basketball team and Carroll County Clay Busters. Dalton loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, James and Clara Mae Prater and Elnora Roberts.

He is survived by his paternal grandparents, Charles "Tootie" and Corinne Prater of Clarksburg, one sister, Jaden Prater of LeBanon, Missouri, a brother, Riley Prater of Clarksburg, his father, Roger Prater of Huntingdon, his mother, Natisha Dame,maternal grandmother, Gini King, maternal great grandparents, Jo and Arlan Chesney, all of Lebanon, Missouri. He also leaves Aunt Brandy (husband Tim) McDaniel of Wildersville and Uncle Ronald Prater of Huntingdon, cousins, Samantha, Austin, Cadey Lynn and Maggie.
